Rheometer (TA Instruments- Discovery Hybrid 20)

The HR 20 rheometer can precisely measure the rheological properties of soft materials. Its revolutionary torque sensitivity can measure lower viscosities, weaker liquids, and soft solid structures while consuming less material.

DLP Bioprinter (Cellink- Lumen X Gen 3)

The LUMEN X Gen 3 is a DLP bioprinter that works with visible light at 405 nm, featuring a printing resolution of 35 μm. This bioprinter is ideal for live cell bioprinting as it allows biofabrication at room temperature while maintaining sterility throughout its workflow. With these features, we can get increased cell viability in the bioprinted constructs.

LCD 3D Printer (Anycubic- Photon Mono M5s Pro)

The AnyCubic M5s 3D printer creates detailed structures with 19-micrometer resolution. This 3D printer is capable of fabricating constructs with thin walls and smooth surfaces. It works with a wide range of resins and can print with an average speed of 105mm/h.  We also have two post-processing units, including a washing bucket and a UV curing chamber.

DLP 3D Printer (Elegoo- Mars 4)

The Elegoo Mars 4 3D printer can accurately and efficiently create models with 50-micrometer resolution. Its small print bed means it uses less resin per print, perfect for testing novel resin prototypes. The DLP technology allows it to cure the entire layer at once, which can be faster for dense models.

Rotary Evaporator (BUCHI - R100)

The BUCHI rotary evaporator is used for the efficient removal of solvents. It can heat samples in a flask to 95°C while a vacuum is applied, to reduce the boiling point of the solvents. The rotation increases the surface area of the solvent, improving the evaporation rate and delivering a more efficient separation. The solvents, then, can be condensed in a receiving flask, facilitating solvent recovery, and improving environmental waste safety.

Vacuum Oven (Fischerbrand Isotemp 281A)

The vacuum oven is tailored and designed to eliminate volatile solvents or moisture, at extremely low concentrations, from samples under reduced pressure. Precise control of pressure decreases the boiling point of solvents, removing them at lower temperatures. This helps minimize the thermal decomposition of heat-sensitive materials. The oven is equipped with a heating plate and an analog interface to precisely control the temperature up to 280 °C, and pressure as low as 0 mmHg. Vacuum ovens are applicable for drying, curing, and various heat-based treatments where air and humidity need to be removed to maintain the sample integrity.

Dental Vacuum Former (DentQ)

The DentQ Dental Vacuum Former uses heat and a vacuum to mold thermoplastics. Designed for creating dental products like aligners, it can also be used for any thermoplastic application.

Heat Press (TUSY)

This TUSY heat press can be set to any temperature up to 250 °C and includes a silicone pad and sponge pad to ensure a more flat and even pressing. It is designed for heat transfer materials. Commercially, this includes t-shirts, mugs, hats, and plates, but it also works well for thermoplastic molded lab projects.

Centrifuge (Eppendorf - 5430R)

The Eppendorf Centrifuge 5430R has a maximum speed of 17,500 rpm. The temperature range can be set from -11 to +40°C, perfect for biomaterials and other heat sensitive solutions. It has 12 different rotors for a wide range of sample types, and the centrifuge routine can be customized.
